Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not vacuum seal. I dont think it seals as well as my vacuum sealer bags do..

I have only been using this for about a month but it has not given me any issues at all. The first jars I sealed i check the seals often and so far they are all still sealed. I do make sure to do everyone of them 40 seconds if not a bit longer to ensure a good seal. I would definitely recommend this product!! It even came with a jar opener and a few very good labels!
